Gears of War 2 Act 1 Part 2
In this video we continue the playthrough for the campaign in Gears of War 2 by Epic Games. Here we find Marcus, Tai, and Dom continuing their shootout through the hospital and finally meet up with Carmine at the entrance of the facility only to find more locust. In some of the locations that you will find combat there are many different ways to approach the targets. You could go straight in and take them on, but you wouldn't be so successful. It would be best to move around the sides of the enemy and hit them on the side of their cover where they are vulnerable. This should definately give you an advantage against the horde.
I would also like to give a very important tip to all the gamers that are trying to attempt the campaign on the Hardcore or Insane difficulties. Don't stray out of cover and try to take all of the enemies on at once. On the harder difficulties, especially insane, you only can take a few bullets and you die. My advice would be to stick to any cover nearby and focus your fire on one single enemy. This would be useful because the locust will recover their health while you're shooting another enemy who has popped out of cover.
Gears of War 2 Act 1 Part 1
With all the buzz about Gears of War 2, we decided to make a playthrough of the game's campaign for all the curious gamers who are deciding if they should purchase it or for those who are stuck at a certain point in the game and want to know how to progress pass that point. This playthrough will be divided into many videos due to the campaign's length. These videos will display the good habits to use when playing Gears of War 2 that will hopefully allow you to last longer than a few seconds out on the frontlines fighting the Locust Horde.
In this beginning mission when you finally reach locust resistance in the hospital, pick up their dropped weapons, for you could use the extra gun if you run out of ammo for your Lancer and your Snub pistol. Also you should notice that I pick up small blue glowing boxes on the ground. Those are ammunition crates which supply you with ammo. It is always smart to pick these up so you aren't left helpless in a firefight without any bullets.
